The small City of Elkton is conveniently located in the center of Todd County along Highway 181 and Highway 68/80. Known as “the heart of Todd County,” this historic Kentucky community is home to about 2,100 residents. Elkton was named for a local watering hole that previously hosted a large herd of elk when it was established in 1820.
